On South Beach Diet

The hubby and I are on a crusade to living healthier lives. After gaining a few pounds (alright, a lot of pounds) right after we got married, this is the only time we can really go into a diet since I’m no longer breastfeeding. Diets are more successful if you have a diet buddy, and who else fit the bill best than my husband?

We’ve tried dieting for our wedding before, hence, we already tried a lot of methods. South Beach was the most effective on us because it was the most life changing. South beach doesn’t just take away portions of your food, but replaces your food with something healthier. It really is a change of mindset.

South Beach has a reputation of glam. Maybe because a lot of food consultants offers South Beach Diet packed food to save you the hassle. Safe to say, it does not transcend to your wallet. So I really studied this before and decided I would make our own food. At first I thought South Beach Diet recipes are westernized, but looking at it closely, a lot of Filipino foods are South Beach friendly.

So there. This is to tell the world that hey, I’m on Phase 1. I declare that I will achieve that ideal weight soon and will post that right here.
