Christmas Shopping without Leaving Home
Written by maialancholy on October 10th, 2008
Okay, so Halloween is not over yet, but I’m pretty excited for Christmas already. This year, I don’t want to spread myself too thin by cramming on Christmas shopping. Last year was forgivable since teh baby was so tiny and I was on maternity leave. This year I have no more excuse on not accomplishing my gift list the way I want to (personalized gifts are a joy to give)! Of course every year is the same list (and budget tee hee), but the shopping methods evolve, you know what I mean. Are you still the type who goes to the malls to hit a sale or perhaps Quiapo or Divisoria to find value for money gifts? With the demands of wifery, motherhood and what-have-you’s, I had to find some other creative ways to give out nice gifts, keep myself on budget, and not be eaten up by a demanding schedule…
Tokyu - Budget Japanese Restaurant in Kapitolyo, Pasig City
Written by maialancholy on July 5th, 2008To all of you who loves Japanese food, this one’s for you. Japanese food is almost always within reach since there’s Tokyo Tokyo, Rai Rai Ken, and Sumo Sam (at least in vicinity I am in, which is in Pasig City). But some friends are most of the time ‘bitin’ when they eat Japanese, especially the hubby. Prices are not going down, and quantity do not follow increasing prices, he he. The once almost-fast-food mode to eating at a Japanese restaurant is slowly transitioning to just casual to fine dining. It means one thing to me - you can’t do it everyday. Time to find that budget Japanese restaurant fast.
Good Burger - Healthy Burger just down C5 in Pasig
Written by maialancholy on July 5th, 2008I have always been westernized when it comes to my food choices. You can say that I’m a burger and fries girl. Yeah, it follows with the body type huh? Anyway, it is a must when you go on a diet that you find the most ‘normal’ food you can eat so your psychology won’t go wacko…
