Before 2007 ends…

It’s two days before the new year and I’m supposed to be looking ahead, but I’m not (yet). Before the year 2007 ends, I am looking back to the year that it is (was). A lot of changes have happened to me in the past year (no, past two years actually) and I must say, for a person who is very resistant to change, I’m doing great!

Okay, after I admittedly denounced Wordpress and shifted to Joomla, I am once again back on Wordpress. Why? Lemme tell you why. I am no techie, but I am married to one. However, I can’t always rely on him for everything tech-related, right? I have to venture it out on my own. Yes, I am an analyst, but I find Joomla too high level for me. Although it has its good qualities, I am a people-person masquerading as a loner, and I want easy to understand functionalities (read: Twitter and MyBloglog). Don’t make me think!

Johann’s Heaven-sent Baptism
Written by maialancholy on December 15th, 2007We had Johann’s baptism last Dec 2 at the Shrine of Mary, Queen of Peace, also where we got married. We had three pairs of Godparents, all people close to us. Everything was simple and solemn, nothing fancy. Though Hanns is the first grandchild of both sides, everyone agreed that a simple celebration is the best way to go. We were on a tight budget after hospital expenses, so the usual melancholic me is worried.
